The Plan

The plan was for us to do two IUI's. This is a very basic procedure that does not involve a whole lot of cost or medication. We did one in January and one in February. Neither worked. We don't really know why they didn't work and we only had a less that 20% chance that they would work anyway. We were now faced with what to do. At this point we had two options....try IVF or be done having kids. Having only one child was not something that Jake and I ever wanted. Jake had said he would be fine with just one but I was not ready to give up. We made the decision to do IVF.
