Pumpkins & Halloween

Wow I can't believe tomorrow is the last day of October! This month has flown and we have been very busy! We had off Columbus Day so instead of going to the Texas State Fair we went to the Dallas Arboretum Pumpkin Festival. Sawyer had a great time looking at all of the pumpkins (after we explained to him they were not balls and he could not throw them) and going inside all of the pumpkin houses.

We also went to a couple of Fall Festivals. One was at the local church and one at his daycare. This year Sawyer is Thomas the Train.

We picked out pumpkins and Jake carved one of them and Sawyer painted another one.

We even decorated the house for Halloween!!

Tomorrow night is Trick or Treating around the neighborhood and we will see how long Sawyer will wear his costume (it has been a bit of a struggle).

We are excited for November! Jake is now a licensed realtor in Texas and we will be spending Thanksgiving in Houston with Jake's parents and grandmother (who we haven't seen in 7 years!!!) We have a trip to the Houston Aquarium planned and maybe some Christmas shopping too!

Happy Halloween!!!

  1. Oh what fun sharing all Sawyer's new experiences eventhough it is by high tech. I am always so happy to get all the pictures and info. Keep them coming! Happy Halloween!
